Outlook E-Mail Tip

Shortcut to View a List of Members for An E-Mail Group

  1. Open a new e-mail message.  You can either click the New button from the Inbox or press Ctrl+N from the Inbox or from inside an existing e-mail message.
  2. Enter the name of the group in the TO or CC field.  You can also enter a portion of the group name and click Check Names on your toolbar.  It looks like this:  .  Or you can use Ctrl+K to Check Names.  The group name will appear  bold and underlined like this:  KTC Global group.
  3. Double click on the group name.  You will see a list of group members in the right pane of the dialog box.

Bonus Tip

Do not use this trick in an existing email if you do not intend to send your email to the entire group.   It's too easy to forget to remove the group name from the TO or CC line.  Always use a fresh new email message to view group members.
